COLLEGE COACH PROGRAM

Program available August 15, 2021 through October 31, 2023.

Take the worry out of your child’s educational future with Bright Horizons College Coach®. Your free program gives you access to a team of college admissions and finance experts who can help you maximize your child’s chances of admissions success and plan for college costs.

Live events, one-on-one guidance, and online resources assist with all-important aspects of your student’s education. You can also get expert advice on college lists and admissions essays. Register and complete your profile to access the most relevant and timely content for your family to support academic success.

All UCI and UCI Health academic appointees, staff, resident physicians, and graduate students.

VIRTUAL TUTORING PROGRAM

As of February 3, 2023, Virtual Tutoring through the Bright Horizons Back-Up Care™ benefit has been discontinued as part of the Bright Horizons® program options.

Virtual Tutoring that was requested prior to February 3rd, will be available for 90 days thereafter.

ENHANCED FAMILY SUPPORTS PROGRAM

Bright Horizons Enhanced Family Supports™ Program provides academic support resources including:

  • Free access to Sittercity’s comprehensive database of self-pay services which includes school support, tutors, and caregivers who are badged “ready to teach” for small group Learning Pods
  • Discounts on test prep and ongoing tutoring through Revolution Prep

Back to School COVID-19 Toolkit - back-to-school guidance from our EAP, ComPsych Guidance Resources and the Centers for Disease Control, as well as information on navigating the transition and dealing with the emotional impacts of the continuing outbreak.

Bright Horizons World at Home - an on-line platform for parents to support children learning at home featuring videos and activities for curriculum such as yoga & mindfulness, STEM learning, language, story time, cooking, and more.

Bright Horizons Family Resources – on demand resources for families including Teach, Play, Love parenting advice podcast and an informational webinar series that includes topics such as potty training, healthy eating habits, discipline, and more.

UCI Life Resources Program - get help with a wide range of needs, including child care, elder care, education, adoption, pet care and personal convenience, such as finding summer camps and other activities for children on summer break. A ComPsych GuidanceConsultant will gather all the information relevant to your request and will then work with a Resource Specialist to produce a packet of information that can be faxed, emailed or sent by second-day air, saving you the hassle of doing the research. You can then contact the referral organizations listed in the packet to decide which best suits your needs. (Available to all UCI and UCI Health employees, retirees, and their families only)
